Template bookshelf with doors created from solid hardwoods.
Handcrafted in the town of Harmony by our team of experienced cabinetmakers.
Hand-made to your specifications in 6-10 weeks, then hand-delivered to your home in 1-3 weeks.
Our wood doors cover approximately the lower 1/3 of the bookshelf.
My idea of a proper dining table starts with a no-compromises slab of solid hardwood, harvested from beautiful hardwood trees grown in my home state of Minnesota.
Our crafters are specialist woodworkers who have been creating dining tables for three generations. They love their work, their skill and dedication shows up in the finished product. They can work magic with hardwood.
And it is a kind of magic, when you see the finished product first-hand. The result is what I like to call Furniture Art.
It's beautiful, artisanal-quality hardwood furniture created by crafters who have mastered their art and the hardwoods of their region through three generations of practice and study.
We guarantee you'll love your new table -- and you have one year to return it for a 100% refund if you don't.
Only 14 people have returned furniture to us over the past 19 years, mostly for issues relating to improper fit or size.
We are very, very good at what we do. Please don't disappoint yourself by buying a table from anyone else :)Details on Our Return Policy
Exceptional Quality Minnesota Hardwoods: Our hardwoods are locally grown, locally sourced, and sustainably replanted.
No Shortcuts Taken Construction: Our dining room tables are created from no-compromises 1.5" thick hardwood. Our bases are composed entirely of solid hardwood, and are designed to support our exceptionally heavy tabletop.
There are three primary points of quality differentiation between our furniture and everyone else's.
Real Hardwoods: We use 100% genuine hardwoods in our furniture.
Just like nutrition labels, furniture websites often mask the origin and characteristics of their lumber.
For example 'walnut' is not necessarily lumber from the species Juglans Nigra, or a related species. It's probably walnut laminate glued on top of a low-quality filler wood.
Made in America: Our furniture is made in America, and it has been for over 19 years.
We do this because it's necessary to create furniture to our impeccable quality standards.
Erik Organic Furniture is designed to last for three generations -- longer than it takes a walnut sapling to grow into a mature walnut tree.
Keeping production in America also helps to contribute to jobs, which improves the economic and social climate of the rural farm country that Erik grew up in.
That impact on our community also matters to our company. We want our grandkids to be here to create beautiful dining tables from the walnut trees that we planted.
Quality of Craftsmanship: Our crafters select their hardwood from the local lumberyards like a fine sushi chef in Tokyo, carefully eyeballing the Hamachi to see how fresh it is.
They take the time to match the wood to the project, carefully selecting hardwood lumber to assure a beautiful and unique piece of furniture.
All of our crafters live and work on their farmsteads, creating fine furniture a few hundred feet from an active farm. Furniture-making is part of their community and family life.
Their love of craft translates into the spectacular quality of our furniture.
