High Quality Construction
Each bookshelf is individually handmade from solid hardwoods by a skilled Amish craftsman.

Our bookshelf are custom made to your specifications. We can adjust the size, shelves and other measurements in order to provide you with a bookshelf adapted to your individual needs.

American Made
Our custom bookshelves are 100% American-made, created from American-made hardware and American-grown hardwoods. Your purchase of an Erik Organic furniture piece directly supports the rural Midwestern economy.

Hardwood
We offer eight standard hardwood choices on our bookshelves. You can learn more about the qualities of these hardwoods on our hardwood sample pages.

Size
We offer several standard sizes of custom bookshelf. When placing an order, we will discuss the layout of shelves & cabinets with you prior to beginning the build.

Custom sized bookshelves are also available. Please contact us for a price quote.

Wood Finish

Hardware
Our bookshelves come standard with the hardware pictured for each style. We also offer a wide variety of custom hardware choices through Hardware Distributors Limited.

Please note that when selecting custom hardware, there will be some variation in the hardware used depending on the furniture piece. The images provided are representative of the hardware style. (For example, slightly different hardware is used on cabinet doors then is used on cabinet drawers due to their size and orientation). Custom hardware will always be the same style, but may be a different size or shape. This decision is left up to the discretion of the craftsman.

Hardwood Rear Panel: The rear panel of our bookshelves are crafted from a high-quality, formaldehyde-free composite wood. You can see a photo of the composite wood rear panel on the back of this dresser.

When upgrading to a solid wood rear panel, the back of the bookshelf is created in the same hardwood as the front of the piece. You can see an example of this on the back of a lotus style dresser.

Shipping Method
Standard shipping is via curbside delivery, in which the furniture is delivered to the curb of your home. The package is not unpacked, brought inside your home, or setup in any way.

Inside the home delivery and setup means that the furniture pieces are brought inside the home, unpacked, and setup in a room of your choice.

When purchasing multiple pieces of office furniture at once, you only need to choose this add-on once. All of the pieces will be hand-delivered inside your home along with your table.

Custom Design
We offer a number of bookshelf customizations, including beautiful mixed wood combinations and custom sizes.

Matching Furniture
We can create matching credenzas, file cabinets and desks. Please see our custom furniture page for details.

Custom Sizes
Custom-sized bookshelves are also available, and can be created to nearly any size and shape.

Time to Create
The time to create our custom bookshelves ranges from 6-8 weeks.

All items are shipped for a flat rate via your choice of curbside or inside shipping.
