We’re always excited to work with groups working to preserve our natural environment. So when the National Wildlife Federation contacted us looking for a conference table, we worked with them to design the perfect piece for their meeting room in Colorado.
The National Wildlife Federation is one of the largest environmental groups in the country, their mission is to “protect and defend wildlife and the wild places they need to survive”.
Although our craftsmen are Amish and don’t have much use for modern technologies in their way of life, they are skilled at accommodating cables and electronics in the beautiful hardwood furniture they create. In this case, National Wildlife Federation required a data port in the center of the table for multimedia presentations, and cable runs were integrated on the underside of the table and one of the legs to keep cables hidden out of the way.
Our designer, Rachelle, created a mockup of the custom design for the customer to approve. After final approval, talented table craftsman, Eli, lovingly built it from solid hardwood. We’re very pleased with how the table turned out! The conference table is our impressive Hagen design, 120″ long x 48″ wide, with a great curved-shape tabletop. It’s created from solid maple, with a custom ‘honey’ wood finish.“We are very excited to have our new conference table!! Eli did a wonderful job with great attention to detail and workmanship! Heidi & Jim were very professional and fast with delivery and setup. I’d also like to thank “Sparky” for all of his help during the process!! Happy to recommend!
Creating conference tables is a bit new for us, but Eli’s expertise in creating dining tables for over 30 years makes this a natural fit for Erik Organic.
