Corner Kitchen Tables

For those homeowners and cooks working with all the necessary appliances, but in a limited space, getting food to the table is often easier than serving it. You either serve buffet style from the kitchen counter, allowing family members to fill their own plates and carry them to the dining room, or you hope that you won't slip transporting the roast from room to room.

There is a better way. You can, in a very few feet, incorporate a table into your kitchen floor plan. Called corner tables, these units don't always go in a corner. Instead, they can fill an irregular space beyond the cooking area, or in an offset of the kitchen sometimes called a "breakfast nook."

More important than the name of the space is the type of table, and Erik Organic offers several styles that fill the bill with ease and style. Choose the Woodland Table, an elongated octagon pedestal-style table on a base that cleverly incorporates the modern equivalent of "feet". This table, available in oak or other durable hardwoods, can be stained dark to focus the eye against a lighter background, or customized with a number of lighter oak finishes.

The Riverside Kitchen Table is another fine choice. Offering more classic styling, with turned legs braced by a spindled stretcher and dual pedestals on a base, the Riverside in natural hickory hardwoods displays the variegated quality of prime hickory to perfection.
