Our dining tables are created by an Amish craftsman with 25 years of tablemaking experience.
Each table is individually handmade to a high quality standard, and is designed to outlast the owner. Our furniture will become the next generation's heirlooms and antiques.
Strong Tabletop
The tabletop is created from 1.5" thick solid hardwood, which assures a very strong tabletop.
Robust Table Base
Our table bases are designed to support the heavy tabletop. The legs and supports are created entirely from solid hardwood.
American Made
Our dining tables are 100% American-made, created from American-made hardware and American-grown hardwoods. Your purchase of an Erik Organic furniture piece directly supports the rural Midwestern economy.
Hardwood
We offer eight standard hardwood choices on our dining tables. You can learn more about the qualities of these hardwoods on our hardwood sample pages.
For the cost conscious, oak or soft maple is the preferred option. Both woods are versatile, and can be stained a number of different colors.
For added durability, we recommend hard maple and hickory. Both are exceptionally strong and durable woods.
Size
We offer several standard sizes of dining table, but we can also create a table to nearly any size or shape. If you'd don't see the size you'd like listed below, please contact us for a price quote.

Table Leaves
12" and 18" leaves can be added to all of our dining tables. They are added to the interior of the table, as seen in this photo.
Please see our seating chart (scroll down the page) for details on how many leaves can be added to a dining table. In general, added leaves can double the size of a tabletop.
We recommend ordering any necessary leaves along with your dining room table, to assure a proper grain and color match.
Table Leaf Storage: Not every dining table can 'self store' leaves inside of the tabletop when they're not in use.
To self-store leaves, the table must 42" in width (or larger) and 50" in length (or larger). This is necessary to house the mechanism that stores the table leaves.
We also offer sideboards, which are designed to store table leaves.
Shipping Method
Standard shipping is via curbside delivery, in which the furniture is delivered to the curb of your home. The package is not unpacked, brought inside your home, or setup in any way.
Inside the home delivery and setup means that the furniture pieces are brought inside the home, unpacked, and setup in a room of your choice.
When purchasing multiple pieces of dining furniture at once, you only need to choose this add-on once. All of the pieces will be hand-delivered inside your home along with your table.

The time to create our dining tables ranges from 4-8 weeks, depending on style and hardwood chosen.
We also offer a number of 'quick ship' tables which can ship out in 1-2 weeks.

Genuine Solid Hardwood: Our dining room tables are created from solid hardwood. We use only genuine hardwoods -- there is no pine, plywood filler, pressed wood, "select hardwoods" or veneers used in our tables. Our hardwoods that are locally grown and harvested in the Upper Midwest.
Tabletop Thickness: Our dining room tabletops are created from 1.5" thick solid hardwood, creating a very solid tabletop.
Table Undercarriage: Our dining room tables are created to be very strong and solid, and are designed to support our heavy tabletop. The legs and supports are created entirely from solid hardwood.
Hardware: We use high quality hardware in our dining tables. The interior leaf mechanism is created from solid hard maple, and the metal gears are mechanized to ensure stability.

Dining Table Seating Guide
Our seating guides assumes the use of 18"-20" wide dining chairs, with two (wider) arm chairs at the end of the table.
Seating Around the Table: You will need around 30" of clearance on all sides of the dining table to be able to get dining chairs in and out comfortably. That can be reduced to 24" for big family events, but no further.
