Our barstools are 100% American-made, created from American-made hardware and American-grown hardwoods. Your purchase of an Erik Organic furniture piece directly supports the rural Midwestern economy.

Hardwood
We offer eight standard hardwood choices on our barstools. You can learn more about the qualities of these hardwoods on our hardwood sample pages.

For the cost conscious, oak or maple is the preferred option. Both woods are versatile, and can be stained a number of different colors.

For added durability, we recommend hard maple and hickory. Both are exceptionally strong and durable woods.

Custom Design

Barstool Construction

Our barstools are created from solid hardwood. We use only genuine hardwoods &madsh; there is no pine, plywood filler, pressed wood, "select hardwoods" or veneers used in our barstools. Our hardwoods that are locally grown and harvested in the Upper Midwest. The solid hardwood in our barstools is joined together with formaldehyde-free glue, and high-quality metal hardware.

Choosing the Right Hardwood

To assist you in choosing the right color match for your home, we offer genuine hardwood samples.

We encourage you order a wood sample to assure your color selection, as the beauty of real hardwood is difficult to capture in a photograph.
