We took delivery of our furniture on February 28, 2011. It consisted of two Lotus nightstands, a Lotus armoire, a Lotus dresser and aTulip bed - all pieces are in natural hard maple.

From the very first contact I had with a representative of Erik Organic I have had nothing but great service. Gail became a friend I could call with any problem. She would answer my questions, problem solve, or contact Erik who always provided a rapid response - this, of course, we greatly appreciated..

The opportunity of having a test sample delivered to our home was fabulous. It definitely is a great idea of your company. It eased any doubts as to the quality of the furniture.

[The craftsman] is a delight to talk with. He was very nice and patient with me. He provided the comfort zone I needed when I wondered how all this was going to come together. He made me feel very confident that we would get what we wanted. (I'm a very hands-on-person so not being there to see this come together was difficult for me.)

We are very pleased with everything about our Erik Organic bedroom furniture - with our selection of styles, wood, and finish. Having the ability to request sizes and design aspects was great. Gail was able to convey our requests and the craftsman applied them. I would not change one thing that was done on any of our pieces. Our armoire with the pocket doors was the most difficult piece of all - size, drawers, etc. The craftsman used his judgement and it came out perfect - exactly what we wanted and needed.

All five pieces have the same wonderful craftsmanship, beautiful finished, and are very study. The bed is solid - it does not creak whenever one of us moves in it. The dresser drawers are deep and just the right size. We do not lack for storage space.

Simon delivered the furniture and he is an excellent representative of Dan and Erik Organic. He is a very courteous and conscientious gentleman. We wish he could have stayed longer.

Because of this beautiful furniture, we have a very comfortable retreat that has the feel of being wrapped in a cozy cloak of warmth. Please convey to [our craftsman] and the other craftsmen how very much we appreciate their work. We will think of them often. Our experience with Erik Organic has been exceptional. We look forward to the possibility of working with Erik Organic in the future.

Thank you for your email...I actually had wanted to contact you all back and let you know how much I appreciate everything after we received the rocking chair, but things were and are a little chaotic still with a newborn :) I had worked with Gail for some time on a custom design that was feasible for the craftsman as well as met our budget for the baby's room rocking chair. Gail was absolutely amazing to work with...kind, flexible, understanding, friendly, and patient. Now that we've received and used the chair, my husband and I could not be happier with its quality and craftsmanship. It was also very important to us that the chair be made of natural materials with no toxins, which is why we were so glad to find your company. Gail helped me with general information about Erik Organic products and services and with specific information about the dining room set I was interested in - the Montrose dining table and chairs - before I submitted my online order. She was such a pleasure to talk to - so courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I could tell she was sincerely proud of the product and of working for this company. In addition, Gail stayed with me throughout the life of the order, emailing me with status updates and answering any questions I had.

The samples that Erik Organic sent to me to help me decide on my wood and stain choices arrived very quickly and were incredibly helpful in my ultimate decision - oak wood with the blackened finish. Just beautiful - and an accurate depiction of what I actually received.

I had expected the building of my 54" Montrose table and chairs (no cushions, no arms) - just beautiful hardwood - to take 6 to 8 weeks. However, the order was finished in about 4 and delivered shortly thereafter.

The delivery men, Jake and another gentleman whose name I can't remember (my apologies to this very nice man) were just as courteous and knowledgeable as Gail. They called me before hand to set up a delivery date and time; then called me the day before to confirm; then they arrived right on time. They were very careful not only with my dining room set as they carried it inside (and it's quite heavy), but they were also careful of my doors and walls. They didn't knock, or even touch, a thing as they carried this heavy table into my house.

And finally, the set itself....It is absolutely beautiful. It is solid oak hardwood, just as advertised; exquisitely and expertly made, and very sturdy, with not a flaw in it. The blackened oak finish is just as I expected it to be, just as shown in the sample - absolutely gorgeous. I am really so very happy with this furniture and with my entire experience - from start to finish - with Erik Organic. I would most definitely buy from Erik Organic again. It is really the best company I have dealt with ever - everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Just nice people. And the craftsman - what skill. My dining room set is the best built piece of furniture I own.

I have attached a photograph of my table for you, but the photo does not do it justice. Still, I hope it gives an idea of the beauty and craftsmanship in this set. I love it.

"Dan and his helper arrived just before 2:00 p.m. and delivered my beautiful new furniture. I am attaching some photos.

As you can see in the photos, we have limited space in our dining room because we have an 8-foot display case which holds my collection of Alaskan artifacts. It is not an optimum place for a glass display case, but it's about the only place that really will hold it. That is why I ordered the bench — it can sit next to the display case and provide seating without necessitating moving the table so that it does not line up with the chandelier.

Dan and Jake were courteous and efficient — took off their shoes each time they carried an item into the house, and then slipped them back on to go out into the rain for another piece of furniture.

"It so nice to see such pride in workmanship. The person that made the chest has to hope that his creation go to a good home, advise him it did.

As for the delivery it was at 3:30 AM. I instructed the guys, I was OK with me as far as the time. I knew the guys were looking at blizzard conditions on their trip back home and I wanted to be sure they were home in time for Christmas.

My wife and myself waited on the front lawn for the sleigh to arrive with our Christmas present. I was speechless when the rotund gentlemen exited the truck having a long beard. He was missing his Santa outfit but we enjoyed his Mennonite attire.
