Amish Bed: Our beds are handmade from solid wood, and are a beautiful centerpiece to any bedroom. Our beds are available in a number of different styles, in beautiful solid hardwoods including oak, maple, cherry and walnut.

Amish Dresser: Our dressers simply beautiful -- they brighten up any bedroom. They are available in a number of different drawer and door configurations, and can be created to fit inside any space. This allows you to customize each dresser to your particular storage needs. Matching swivel and tryptich mirrors are also available.

Amish Armoire: An armoire is a special kind of dresser, they are tall and generally have a large interior compartment to hang clothes (so they can be stored away without folding them). Armoires are a great choice for those without enough closet space.

Amish Nightstand: A perfect complement to a handcrafted bed.

Cedar Chest: Cedar chests make a wonderful gift for weddings, anniversaries and graduations. They are often used to store precious heirlooms. The cedar lining acts as a natural moth and insect repellent, providing protection for your clothes and linens.

Our dining room furniture is beautiful, durable and can be created in nearly any size or configuration.

Dining Room Tables: Our tables are custom designed to fit into your individual dining room. Our tables are also incredibly beautiful -- they hearken back to an earlier age when solid wood, good craftsmanship and individual attention to every inch of a piece of fine furniture was the norm.

Kitchen Tables: Kitchen tables are available in a wide variety of designs, but don't offer the same range of sizes and options as our dining tables. Most kitchen tables can expand with the addition of table leaves to seat additional guests.

Pub Tables: For smaller seating arrangements, pub tables may be more appropriate than a full-sized dining table.

Circular Tables: Circular tables are an offshoot of dining tables, but offer seating arrangements without any awkward corners.

Seating: Dining room seating is available in the form of dining chairs, barstools and benches. All of these designs are available with seats upholstered in leather or fabric. Organic fabric and infill is also available.

Dining Room Cabinets: We also offer a variety of China cabinets, side buffets and wine servers. If you don't see the style or design you're looking for in our photos, we can also create a custom piece to your specifications. Many of our designs begin with a customer request such as, "I'd like a matching china cabinet for the eastern mission table we're getting."

We offer a variety of green office furniture, designed for the workplace or home office. Featured among these designs are a number of custom desks, including beautiful and distinctive rolltop designs.

Bookshelves: Bookshelves can be created either open or closed, with a glass front or a solid wood front. Legal sized and oversized shelves are also available.

Office Cabinets: Various styles and sizes of cabinetry for the office, ranging from entertainment style units to integrated file cabinets.

File Cabinets: A specific form of storage, our file cabinets can be created to match any of our desks. They're available in both legal sized or standard sized cabinets.

Custom Desks: We offer variety of custom desks, created in designs ranging from rolltop desks to student & teacher Desks.

Conference Tables: The centerpiece of any office, a beautiful conference table can be created in nearly any size or configuration. Genuine solid wood tables are rare these days, and are a true conversation piece.

Swivel Office Chairs: Very solid and sturdy, our swivel office chairs complement our office tables. They are available with organic and natural upholstery.

Young children are more susceptible to toxins than adolescents or adults. We offer solid wood baby furniture, finished with low VOC wood finishes and topped with an organic mattress.

Organic Baby Crib: Our cribs are created from solid hardwoods with an eye for durability and strength. Our cribs are beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces that are designed to last for generations. Many of our cribs can convert into kid-sized beds, allowing the piece to grow along with your child.

Baby Changing Table: Changing tables are essentially a small dresser with a top rail, which is in place to prevent your child from sliding about. When your child grows up, the changing table rail can be removed -- this turns the changing table into a small dresser.

We offer a variety of organic living room furniture.

Coffee Tables, End Tables and Sofa Tables: We have a large number of designs available, including a line of custom-sized coffee tables with very thick 1.5" tabletops. They're visually very striking.

Rocking Chairs: Rocking chairs help to make a living room feel 'lived in'. We offer standard rockers. glider rockers and also upholstered rocking chairs. Natural and organic upholstery is available.

Entertainment Centers: We offer a number of plasma TV and entertainment center styles -- each is custom made to your specifications.

Organic Sofas, Futons and Chairs:Our living room upholstered chairs and sofas are created from 100% natural and organic materials.

Erik Schimek, the founder of Erik Organic, became very ill due to solvent exposure several years ago. This made him acutely aware of hidden toxins in the home which slow down the healing process.

One of our longer-term projects is to offer tiny homes and cabins created from solid wood and safe, sustainable materials.

By contrast, furniture created from manufactured 'fake' woods begins showing its age after just a few years; composite wood cannot be repaired or refinished. The obsolescence of poorly-made furniture creates a substantial carbon impact. Our green furniture, by contrast, is build to outlast the owner. This reduces the lifetime carbon footprint of our furniture, as it only needs to be manufactured and shipped once.

Where the money is going: Your purchase of an Erik Organic furniture piece helps to directly support the rural Midwestern economy. The solid hardwoods used in our furniture are locally grown and harvested. Purchase of this wood employs Midwestern farmers with hilly sections of their land set aside for selective hardwood harvesting, owners of local tree farms, and sawmill operators. We use American-made high quality metal hardware and wood finishes. Purchase of our furniture also employs Amish craftsmen and their assistants, who in turn spend their money back in the local community.
